Charging the Note 3

That is so people know it is okay to not leave it plugged in for life. Some people need to *read* that so they don't bug samsung customer service with *can I disconnect* my phone.

U guise are all wrong.

You have to watch your phone LED closely during the entire charging cycle. As soon as it turns green, unplug it immediately. If you miss it, your phone might explode! It happens. Srsly.

I know a guy that missed the green light by like three minutes and this is what happened...

I'll say it one last time, it is impossible for the battery to overheat and crack your tempered glass screen while trickle charging it.

Thanks to all who responded even those who shared there humor.

I understand protection circuits have been around and worked fine for awhile now.

This phone has a 2.1 amp charger that charges the phone very fast.

I would like to hear from someone who has specific knowledge about the note 3 and it's charging protection system.

As always any opinions advice are appreciated.
