Charging while updating?

Just got my Note 9 last week and don't want to mess with anything. Just got the new security update today. Should I install it while I'm charging the phone? When the phones at 100%? When the phone is charging and at 100%? It's at 58% now and not charging is it ok to just go ahead and install the update?

It'll complain if it thinks the battery is too low to update the firmware. As long as the phone allows it, you don't have to worry.

Thanks! How much battery does a security update deplete? Looks like my battery is around 5% less after the update? Is this normal?

Depends on the size of the update and how many items are changed.
