Charging

Hello all,

Just got a fancy new 10.5 tab s. Love it so far but I was blown away on how long it has taken to charge the tablet. I updated to 5.0.2 as soon as I turned the device on and it seems to be running pretty amazing. However, the charging takes hours to get to 100%. Can anyone suggest, or help me out. Is this just something that we've got to deal with, is this normal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How many hours does it take? When it's plugged in, go to Settings>Battery--does it say it's Charging (AC) or Charging (USB) when plugged into a wall outlet?

Thanks for the reply. I just returned the tab. It updated to lollipop and was experiencing the same issues as the S5 has. Its horrible. My Note 4 blows the doors of that tab, in my little experience this it anyway.

Yes, the Tab S 10.5 takes quite a while to charge.

Note 4 and Tab S are two different creatures.

Hi,
Mine took > 6 hours to charge(AC charging) from 20% to charged 100%. Less than 5 hrs from 20% to charging 100%.If unplugged at charging 100% battery indicator will drop rather quick as compared to charged 100%.
btw mine is SG tab s 8.4 after update frm kkat to Lpop.
Never got this problem before.
