To add insult to injury. Already without a LED light to notify of stuff. Now even plugging in the charger doesnt light the screen up.

Yeah yeah i know theres a sound if you plug it in. Yeah yeah i know i always plug my phone with screen on to know that its charging by looking at the battery icon.

I mean isnt this supposed to be basic? Honestly i cant even remember the last time i had a phone which doesnt light up when plugged into a power source...

Do you use AOD? With AOD on there's a little animation that goes around the charge port when you plug in.

Shouldn't have to worry about burn in with the AOD. By default, anything that lights up is slowly moved (moves position, you want even notice it other than then the position changes) around the screen so the same pixels are not constantly lit up. With how good these displays are now days, I wouldn't worry about it.

It definitely won't cause burn because it moves around every few minutes to avoid burn in and no noticable hit on battery as well. I've been using AOD on all my devices with no issues. I'm sure many will say the same.
