Chase does not like Android

so here i am at work, and the topic comes up "my iphone is better than your evo because of_______"
long story short. in my work we have 8 people iphone user and android user. we were going down the list and android can kick some but, until i notice.....
all 8 of us have chase as our direct deposit and there is a nice app for the iphone that allows you to take a picture of your check and they will deposite it for you. i looked in the app store and there is nothing officially made by chase for the android.....

has any one found anything made by chase on the app store, and how can we get the same app as the iphone.

Doesnt make sense. Might be why its not available for android, sounds pointless.

I'm guessing that he means other checks that aren't directly deposited would be able to be scanned and deposited in this manner. But I don't think that it is proof that Chase hates Android lol. it may just be a matter of time before Android gets something like it that. That ability for the iphone is something new. Before it was just a regular application to see your accounts.

I have not found any would like one for them and a few other banks I deal with.

I emailed Chase sometime in May about an Android app, and they replied that they were working on releasing it soon, how long that will be is anybodys guess.

I remember seeing a leaked version screenshot on phandroid earlier this month. Shouldn't be too much longer. No idea what it will be able to let you do through the app. I'm not to worried about it as I don't use Chase for my banking.

It'll come, just like Wells Fargo came around for Android. Just a matter of time.

I think they probably develop for iPhone first (since it's still the largest market). And then if that's successful, they continue to other platforms, starting with Android/Blackberry.

this...closed all accounts with them when they decided to up my interest rate on my cards for no reason at all...we have a high credit limit and we always pay ahead of time...never late or miss a payment and yet they up the rate out of no where...and they upper it a huge amount...never looking back at them again

im all about new tech...but check deposit through your phone...no thanks ill do it old school. Specially with the new hacks that come out almost every month on iphone.

I have Chase because I ended up there after a long line of other banks getting merged or swallowed. I don't pay any fees so I cost them money. They did jack up my credit card rate so I paid it off as well as my mortgage but of course now I'm stuck with BofA handling my mortgage. I'm sure Chase will try to get me off their credit card too as I'm now paying it off every month and getting a rebate through Amazon. I also have a credit union account but I don't see them writing any apps for phones. It's getting to the point where I could eliminate the regular bank but not yet.

This is the only reason I hold on to my iPhone 2G, since you can still use the Chase app and connect via WiFi to deposit the check.

I carry an EVO as primary phone
