Chat Heads SMS Picture

I installed Facebook Messenger,turned on chat heads and checked both boxes for SMS/mms. I get a text message and the contact's picture doesn't show up. He has a contact picture that is synced from Facebook. Anyone else having this issue?

Works for me & to be honest I thought I'd dislike the Heads but really enjoy them!
Just waiting on Ninja SMS to update so they start as collapsed the way Facebook Heads are being less intrusive than Ninja currently starting as expanded.

I have the same problem. I restarted my phone and the first text message i received showed a picture but everyone after that does not.

I am having the same problem, no picture for SMS contacts when i clearly have their picture in my contacts synced to facebook. Does anyone know how to fix this???

I figured it out. It only uses a picture that is different than your Facebook picture. I went in and changed my default pictures on the ones that weren't showing up to the Google pictures and they started showing up. It makes sense because if it used the Facebook picture, then you could have two conversations in there from the same person and having the same picture. You wouldn't know which one is text and which one is Facebook messaging. Hope this helped.

I am really liking the chat heads so far and am glad facebook made it part of messenger instead of "home". Home is more facebook than I need but the chat heads are convenient.

I was actually hoping for the opposite. My chat heads are defaulted to a stacked format on the side of my screen, and would prefer them to be spread out. I'm usings facebook messenger (obviously ) and stock messenger.

Have you seen a setting for this? or is it just that Ninja isn't working with it as intended at the moment?
