How do I fix chate features they are turned on but not working on my Samsung galaxy a12

You using Google message app or stock Samsung? Which carrier?
Do t forget another andriod user would need char features on to read receipts

Welcome to Android Central! Turning them on doesn't necessarily mean they're immediately available. The app will usually tell you that Chat features will be available soon -- wait for a little bit and come back to the messaging app to see if it tell you they're now activated.
