The only thing about that is criminals or those intending to do something like this will always be able to find weapons somewhere .A law to ban assault weapons/ automatic weapons will just affect the law abibing people.Similar to the old saying "A locked door will only keep honest people out " a criminal will just kick the door in.

I'm not try to start a political discussion, I'm just happy my state lets carry my Glock .40 cal with me at my choosing. I do have my conceal carry permit and I never leave my home without it. My grandparents were murdered 1.5 years ago. They lived in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. The killer has never been caught yet. It doesn't matter where you are, bad people who want to do bad things will find a way to do them. Unless the consequences are so bad that it forces them not to act.

As for me, if they decide to act in my presence, I will have no hesitation sending them to what ever hell they believe or don't believe in.

That's true but I think most of these psychos are not criminals, they're just sickos.

I mean, not criminals in the sense that they probably don't have access to criminal black market autos. They probably bought it on the internet.

In all honesty, who the hell needs an assault rifle? This isn't Iraq. Gun control(and I use that term very loosely) is a joke in this country. Just yesterday, Michigan passed a law to allow guns to be carried in churches and daycares. Are you effing kidding me? Less guns, less violent crimes.
