[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

The GNex slave has officially failed. Won't acquire any sort of a signal, and activating the hotspot causes all sorts of craziness. Final uptime of 1122 hours. Sooo I'm a T-Mobile apartment now.

With gigabit fiber coming this fall. ;) Gigabit Seattle | Gigabit Seattle
wow i cant believe it lasted that long lol, and i will envy that gigabit, with Comcast i get around 50 down and 20 up but its out today for some reason

Whats up Chatter, been awhile since I passed thru. Sorry bout that .........(mental note; stop by chatter everyday :D)

So about this time tomorrow night I'll be placing an order for 2x N7's. One for me, one for my parents. I'm not to worried about me figuring it out...

My folks though... Not so good learning new tech. They have an older iPod touch that I'm replacing with the tablet. So I want to find a guide (physical copy would be good too) of "A technological dunce's guide for transitioning from iOS to Android" :D

Cmon chatter, you haven't failed yet!

EDIT:
I'm looking for a dialer replacement. I find that I really miss the AOKP's dialer. It's pretty much the stock JB dialer, but with 2 things I really miss:
1) T9 contact search
2) exit to home screen or exit to previous screen (as opposed to stock behavour of exiting to call log)

Right now I'm trying Contacts+ and Dialer+ but it's a bit much when I really only want those 2 additions to stock. I don't actually use the phone itself very often but man do I miss it when I do.
Anybody happen to have an APK for the AOKP dialer or suggestions for a good/simple dialer?

Not sure why they would even need it. If they install an app, it goes on their home screen. It will automatically connect to their Wi-Fi once set up. App Store on iOS = Play Store on Android.

Done.

Part of me is really hoping they'll adapt/transition that easily. I am anticipating a bit of a learning curve though, and a physical copy would be good. Although i do plan on making sure they get the "owner's guide" from the Play store. I'll install it myself if I have to -- but I think making THEM do it (guided by me) would help them learn :)

okay so the subreddit 50/50 was mentioned here i hadn't heard of it,i have since learned that "every click is a dangerous one."

Checking every day won't get you up to speed with Chatter. You need to stop by every hour (see how late I'm replying? That's a perfect example.) :)

So I'm chilling with cole2kb at McD's, I got a half chocolate, half shamrock shake. Amazing.
