Yeah it was my Mom who passed away to.I was by her side when she took her last breathe.She had Alzheimer/Dementia kept her at home with caregivers until she needed constant care and moved her into a place for people with that disease this past Oct.
It was time for her to leave Jan 5 at 3:12 pm

I am so sorry man!

My story is similar. My mother was in and out of the hospital over the past 10 years. Then in October of 2012, a home, came the day that she could not get out bed at all and she was hauled off to the hospital. She then moved to different medical facilities. Finally in August 2013, she was moved to a hospital in Maryland.

Then at 8:26 PM, on August 20 of 2013, the machines were shut off and she passed quietly. I was with my mom right to the end too.

I understand what you are going though. Hang in there. I am still working through the loss myself, but I know the first few months are the worst.

I've used a few unofficial micro USBs with no issues. Sounds like apple should get rid of those special connectors and join the standard.

I completely agree!

Honestly, I have never understood the reason why iPhones have always used special connectors. I mean, seriously, Android phones use micro USB, Blackberries use micro USB, Windows phones use micro USB, even flip phones use micro USB.

The only reason I can figure that Apple has stuck with the special connectors is for the money.

Lightning is reversible...
Oh and the connected is smaller so it saves space in the iPhone which is already cramped. I didn't understand the 30 pin connector though.

Well gotta respect your defending the phone you like.
I personally never had an iphone.I had an touch ipod in my blackberry year of 2009.
The 2 iphone users here (coworkers) I just gotta joke with about it, btw goes both ways though.
My sister-in-law wants to switch to an iphone I think mainly because my niece has one.
I dont think her switching will solve her issues shes just not much into learning the features of her phone.I try to help her and show her how and she seems to get it at the time but then forgets the next time she has a problem.
Sometimes she forgets where to get apps from ha.Im thinking "duh" its the play store.
Good thing she doesnt come to forums since Im posting this tho she would be giving me a mean look if she saw this post
