Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

Crossbreed is still dead, lol... but th3ory says PZ v19 will be out today.. I believe it will have all the aokp b30 swag.

@davey11 btw that volume settings option has been available for a while, just need to enable it in Rom Settings :)

Was reading the B30 thread over on Rootz, some of the people just got ridiculous. Especially with some big menu softkey?

How does the new NavBar/SoftKey thing work? Can I still use zip themer and such, or would I have to "unzip" the icons and load them manually?

Creating a Nandroid but staying on CM9 (4/4/12) until the mood strikes lol

No idea, lol.. I don't see any need for that feature personally. I mean I guess it kinda cool and some people will go nutso sticking apps in the navigation bar.. Idk I just don't see myself using it.

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

Me neither. I've fallen in love with my new soft keys, and I will preserve them at all costs--even death.

AOKP build 30 is running smoothly for me but can't tell if it's any faster or smoother than build 29. The new navigation bar customizations seem to be the big difference between 29 and 30, and a few bugs with the new features seem to be creating a lot of chatter over at Rootzwiki. I'm happy with my nav bar setup that has four buttons and invisible menu buttons on both sides (which has been available in AOKP for a while) so the bugs with the new features aren't an issue for me.

I'll probably stick with build 30 as it's running fine for me, but if you're on build 29 I suggest upgrading only if you want to try out the new navigation bar features. Sounds like build 31 may be out soon though with fixes for the navigation bar bugs.

Soon, it will be the evening and time to return to our regularly scheduled boozing.

For the first night in a WHILE I'll be gaming (League of Legends) while boozing.

If anyone plays, look me up: misterstaggerlee is my handle.

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

It's a multiplayer/online tower defense/RPG. Sorta like DOTA, but a bit easier learning curve at first.

I played with my roomies the last year or so of law school. Playing with them again now.

Diablo III is also coming out pretty soon. Might have to give that a shot. Stealing gf's pc laptop for the summer to sink into an abyss of gaming for a few weeks.

I haven't had a console since ps2, but I've played a good deal of Xbox in the days of living with roommates.

Played Diablo way back on win 98 :)

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

DroidHive is down right now.. I would upload the ROM but it was revised around 8pm last night with a sound fix.... long story short you're better off waiting til you can get the right file, lol.

I will say I'm seeing incredible battery life right off the bat with this ROM... I forgot how good franco's kernel is with battery, glad th3ory is using it again. Usually I tell people to give the ROM a day at least to settle before you judge it, but I just flashed milestone one last night.. overnight on wifi I got less than 1% battery loss per hour. Haven't seen that kind of sippage in a minute :)

EDIT: Actually it looks like ROMBOT is still working... so heres a direct link to the revised ROM: http://rombot.droidhive.com/ROMs/toro/AXI0M_PATIENT_ZERO_M1_ALL_USER_REL_SIGNED.zip

@dmmarck wake up and stick that in your OP :P

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

Restoring now. Can't wait to flash new softkeys lol

Is anyone on Franco's 130? I flashed it like 2 minutes ago on patient zero v18 wondering what to expect.

+1. I don't see the point. But it is a cool mod/feature.
