You be careful out there, latest news are saying most of SC will get ice, plenty of ice.
Some places north from Columbia SC might get one inch of ice!

Happy Humpday(snowy) Wednesday
Been at work since 5 am(wasnt snowing yet) . Im thinking might be leaving at 10-11 am.Swing by liquor store,and pick up a few snacks at grocery store.
Yea, I'm about to go to work but will stay on the lookout to leave as soon as possible when the snow stars to get heavy.
The problem here will be the ice, up to half an inch!

Yup Im hoping the freezing rain stays out of here( its suppose to).Maybe the storm will track further to the east that will cut down on the freezing rain from being as widespread else where .
So far where I am just saying it might mix with some sleet at times.
Usually if freezing rain starts getting in that range or more power outage more likely

All roads around here are snow covered and getting slick now .Varied widely from place to place starting to equal out more now.
I got stuck behind someone from New Jersey they never went over 20 mph .They finally turned off .I was going slower then normal but just by 10 mph so 45 in a 55 no problem

This is the same road that the snowplow went down on my previous post.
We all ready have 4.5 inches so if the additional snow falls as mentioned above should have apx.8.5 inches and still not tho .This is turning out to be a big snow for us.

I-77 to Lancaster SC on US 21. 24 miles. 1 hour 5 minutes. Freezing rain and ice on top of snow.
The upside, no traffic. The downside, the drive at the shipper is uphill and ice covered. I didn't make it half way up.
But the guard says they'll be right on cleaning it up, after 9 o'clock this morning.
Truck driving is a never ending parade of excitement!

Good morning ChatterHeads .I didnt go to work today...yet.Im not sure i can get car out of driveway even with or over hump of snow made by snowplow.It sleeted all night on top og the snow we got ,chance of flurries til noon.Here is the total I dont expect it to change much maybe sn inch more at best if it does.

From the place I worked yesterday to my house is a 12-15 minute drive normally. It took double that because of traffic and weather.
By the time I was about a kilometer away from the house, I got stuck! And there was about 3 inches of snow already!
My little old truck is the third, I helped the rest of those cars to get close to the curve.
Than, even though I was very hungry because I didn't ate anything in the whole day, I stayed there helping people for about 2 hours more.

Snowing again now from the upper level Low Pressure storm . They say 2 to 4 more inches .Time will tell.My little town has their own snowplows first time I have seen the actual plow on those trucks Ha.Picture zoomed in to see name on door.
