[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Re: [Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Oh yeah why is that?

That multiple desktops thing, plus the way the dock works, the aesthetics, the speed, actually useful applications.

I might not have access to as many applications as you but I will most likely have the better quality and better performing ones. (unless gaming, and even then the iris is handling Borderlands 2 on all high smoothly and League of Legends on mid-high at 60-70FPS.

Re: [Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Yes. But only for the 13" models.

I am afraid if I bought one, I would go off on a apple is the only way tangent. So I will refrain for now, but as I have said, it is superb for many things, not all, and I think itunes is one up on google right now.

Superior battery life, superior drivers for the trackpad, superior scaling for high res displays, superior gestures and commands, more fluid UI (Even simple things like scrolling on a webpage). Shall I name more? :p

Oooo, touched a nerve no? It is a old article, but some points are right on point. Lighting headphone connector ring a bell?

It did. I find it to be so biased since it's all wrong, narcism as a reason? really? Then apply the same thing to Samsung. Why do they sell? because they are mainstream.

The lightning headphone thing, THEY WILL NEVER REPLACE THE HEADPHONE JACK WITH THE LIGHTNING ADAPTER!!!! It's a rumour made up by anti-Apple folk that think Apple would be stupid enough to do that.

That's the problem. Happened to me, unfortunately I see too many compromises in other laptops now. I seriously tried researching other laptops but this literally was the best one I could find here.

You seriously wouldn't want to go back.

Ha ha, fair enough my friend, because that lighting adapter is proprietary enough. Why would apple take that to the top side? Lol.

Exactly. Apple isn't that stupid to get rid of something as standard as the headphone jack.

See, with the continuity features...plus third party keyboards and devs being able to add functionally into the stock Apple apps, idk anymore about Android forever....

With iOS 8, just an example, devs will be able to add their own custom filters into the native photos app but that's only one example plus hand-offs for all third party apps...again. Apple seems to open up quite a lot in that regard.

Let us remember that while that is a win for Apple, it is nothing compared to the openness of android. Not even close

OK. Maybe not forever, but not in the foreseeable future. Especially with iPhones being so damn tiny, and having inferior displays 😛

Just noticed the new update for AC. Glad they added a root your phone section, even if it links to XDA lol
Also noticed that we went over 46K posts, and I was number 46,000 :D

Unless the bezels are drastically reduced, the phone will be larger than the Moto X, which is the perfect size imo. Still not a fan of the "low" PPI and of the home button.

Resolution is most likely going standard. 1080P perhaps?
