So after two years of my dog having chewed off the audio cable, I just this week decided to fix them up (well, I had tried before but gave up after a couple of days). Had to do some soldering and cutting of plastic, and although the inside of the cup looks awful, they're finally good to go again :D
Pads are replacements as well, and a lot bigger than stock, but also a lot more comfortable.

I couldn't make it into the office on Tuesday...and my boss actually allowed me to do about half of a day of work from home since I had my work laptop with me at home.

This winter has been rough for you guys. Meanwhile in Southern California is hasn't rained more than 2-3 days, and the low has been around 35 degrees lol. This weekend got into the high 80s

Re: [Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Isn't this lovely... Happens a few times every winter, but it's rare this warning covers the whole province! This is current as of today (Feb 21, 2015). Keep in mind it's metric (temps in Celsius, wind speed in km/h) so you'll have to convert to imperial if you're in the States.

Depending on which app I check, the "wind-chill factor" or "feels like" temp is anywhere from -47 Celsius to -53 Celsius overnight. Below is from the national weather service (Environment Canada)

" A prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected.

An area of high pressure will slide southeastward across the eastern prairies tonight and Sunday. Very cold air is associated with this high pressure area, and overnight lows of minus 30 or colder combined with winds of 10 to 20 km/h will generate extreme wind chills of -40 to -45. Wind chills will moderate by midday Sunday as temperatures start to rise.

Wear appropriate clothing.
- Always wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Synthetic and wool fabrics provide better insulation. Some synthetic fabrics are designed to keep perspiration away from your body which keep you dry and further reduce your risk.
- Dress in layers with a wind resistant outer layer. You can remove layers if you get too warm (before you start sweating) or add a layer if you get cold.
- Wear warm socks, gloves, a hat and scarf in cold weather. Be sure to cover your nose to protect it.
- If you get wet, change into dry clothing as soon as possible. You lose heat faster when you're wet.

Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia."

Sorry to hear that

As I mentioned before, it seems to be really cold everywhere recently.
