Very true. Wow. When I had my incredible I had no idea what rooting and flashing was. I just went stock and was a happy camper. Thunderbolt. I remember all of the business that was poppin for that. Fo sho! Vzw's first 4g. Feels like it was just yesterday. Ha ha. I hope development gets up there for the S3. I know it wont come ANYWHERE close. But something!

I heard of rooting when I had my OG Droid. I was a scared little kitty back then. Ha ha. It all had to start somewhere.

The development for that phone was sick. That's where I cut my teeth in this whole scene. I remember pasting commands into terminal, and rebooting like three times in between to get root. It was only a few days after I got it, and decided to root because I realized you couldn't capture screens without using the SDK.

Then... down the rabbit hole. Android IS where it's at. I love this ish.

I did mine that way last time a put on a screen protector .It did make it easier .LoL I thought I was the only one who had trouble putting on a screen protector and keeping everything lined up properly .

There is an unofficial aokp out for the S3
soon to come out tomorrrow an unofficial aokp jb for the s3

also an aokp jb preview for the nexus as mentioned a few post back

I gunno half to catch an early mid morning buzz to fiqure out where I want to start from ha :)

You should just sell that S3 and come back to the glorious land of unlocked bootloaders full time :).

Speaking of the S3. My parents had to go to Verizon yesterday because my dad needed to get a new phone since the company that he just left are dragging their feet with releasing his phone number to him. It is our phone number we originally bought his line on our family share and bought the phone but they are sour about it all. Anyway, a woman was there buying a GS3 for her and her son or grandson whatever I wasn't there and my mom told her that we just returned two of them and the VZW rep asked her why. She said she wanted to go back to her iPhone and mine was returned for and I am quoting... "Something about a locked bootloader".

O fun at the verizon store.

LOL I get too bord with just one phone tho to experiment with. I guess I'm a phone OCDed person :p

But I still have my Nexus anyhoo so guess I am still halfway in the "land of unlocked bootloaders fulltime".This weekend tho fulltime since using Nexus exclusively.

I've been getting the same message in Tapatalk. I just select the option to have the image hosted on AC instead. Seems to be working fine.
