[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Occasionally The Verge does post something readable...
Mossberg: It’s time to free the smartphone | The Verge

In this particular case it is because of Walt Mossberg who used to run All Things Digital and was at WSJ up until last year. Really nice article, something I have been a proponent of since my first cellphone not just the smartphone....
I've opted for that with the Moto X Pure Edition. It's my first unlocked and unbranded device.

BTW, I called Moto today since it was supposed to arrive yesterday. Apparently the royal blue back, which I picked, was very popular. I was told I'll have it on either 9/21 or 9/23.

I had a very long day at work...

Too many important meetings, and too short timelines...

Thought of the day {for me at least}

One simple wish... I wish I could have the knowledge I have now at 40 years old and the energy of I had when I was in my 20's.

I used to listen to them in grad school. Bought an album in London Heathrow airport back in the 90s. If you like Garbage, try listening to Lush, album Split. Heard a song recently from that album on Morning becomes eclectic with Jason Bentley on NPR KCRW.
