[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Ordered something called "Amazing Chicken" solely because of its name.

Damn I'm torn. I love the camera and storage of the G3, but the ZTE just flies, even though it's a lower spec processor and less ram.

Not sure if you guys have this phone down there (probably under a different name). Here's the specs. ZTE Grand X 2 | Bell Mobility | Bell Canada

I think it is going to show up here in the USA under a slightly different moniker.

Sure thing. Did you get your new Moto X 2015?
You'll probably get your new device before I get mine.

My Moto X Pure Edition is still being built. 😞

Nah, the Mi4C is only for China right now and it is on Pre-Order and there is price gouging going on for overseas buyers. I am not going to fall into that trap. I will wait a few weeks till the dust settles down.

Seems like it's similar. My Grand X2 is only a 5" 720p screen and a 2480 mAh battery (due to the smaller size). Honestly if I could shrink down the bezels and transplant the camera module and 32 gb storage from my G3 it would be dang near perfect. 1080p would be nice but 720p on 5" isn't as noticeable as I thought it would be coming from 5.5 UHD.

Yup 720p on 5" is just fine. I have a Lumia 640 and the screen is stellar on it.
