It is. We alternate between Santa Monica and Ventura in California for the most part.
These were taken at Santa Monica beach.

I haven't taken any trips since summer ended. I have been kept busy during yard work . Because of the storms that came though .

Sept 14 : What was left of Hurricane Florence , wind ( gusts to 35 mph) and rain (10 inches altogether) .It was a Tropical Depression by the time it was affecting my weather.

October 11: What was left of Hurricane Michael . strong wind ( gusts to 55 mph ), rain ( 5 inches) . It was worse because of the stronger winds ,wide spread trees down in the area. It was still a Tropical Storm when it came though here.

October 26 : What was left of Hurricane Willa is going to pass though tomorrow. will mainly be just an all day rain event. The weakest of the 3 . Its not suppose to be a lot of rain( 1-2 inches) or wind,

I did not loose any trees but across the street and 1/2 mile up the road there were a couple big trees blown down. I watch the tree across the street fall ,while hoping my trees wouldnt fall ,when that strong wind came though .

That's the tree I watched fall .The main part of that tree missed their house but a limb did clip the chimney, and was stuck They had to be careful to remove it to prevent more damage to chimney.It put a hole in their roof to

Yup , I guessed it to be about 60+feet tall. That one with no hardly any limbs left , was one that was in the process of being took down as well. Actually almost all their yard has been cleaned up now .
Just the trunk of the uprooted left is left to be removed

It's an enigma, It's about everything and nothing. It's topic is as unknowable as the grains of sand on a beach are countable. You could try and do some formula's and use rough averages but in the end. It will only ever be an educated guess.
