Flashed AOKP on Grouper last night and runs good, just missing center clock :( but thats no big deal. Running Motley kernel on it and its smooth as butter :).

Anyone else see that Apple claiming again that the Nexus is a iPhone copy cat? The only comparisons that I see between the two are as follows:

It makes phone calls
It sends text messages
It gets data services
It fits in your pocket

Aside from that... how is it a copy cat?

Because apple invented phones and phone-like devices and anything that looks like a phone or acts like a phone is clearly an apple copycat...... didn't you know?

I think its damn ridiculous. Apple that is. There will always be competition. Someone will take what you create. Innovate it. And release it again. Apple believes they should be the only smartphone on the market. Not to mention that I remember hearing android sales going up and iPhone sales are at a standstill right now. They released the same crap all the time. Same OS.

Tablets too. Don't forget they invented them as well.

Sounds like most are running AOKP/Franco on toro? Mayhaps need to flash this once some work gets done this morning.

What are you guys seeing as the best setup for Franco and AOKP. I just downloaded Franco last night and I am not sure what the best performance/battery saving settings are. Currently I have everything default except a few color settings. I'm sure there are opinions out there but I trust this thread's inhabitants to know what you're talking about. :)

AOKP has been running well on my Galaxy Nexus. Think I'll be flashing it on my Nexus 7 later today. Only feature that I'm missing so far is custom autobrightness levels, but I can do without for now. :)
