[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

When we were there. My wife and I were talking about the OS names. There's an alphabetic system to them.

A- Android
B- ??? We were puzzled
C- Cupcake
D- Donut
E- Eclair
F- Froyo
G- Gingerbread
H- Honeycomb
I- Ice Cream Sammich
J- Jellybean
K- guess what's next...

Some kid there kept calling ICS ice cream sundae. His dad was getting pissed. Lol.

Android Police, actually had quite a lovely discussion over the weekend, re the two versions of Android before Cupcake... to all our amazement, JBQ, actually came and cleared, everything up...

Interview for where? I think I missed that if it were chattered about.

Is there even a question in there? ;-)

No tours on weekdays, so I'd be going just to make a take-home purchase. Will need to call before leaving work (to make sure they have stock of ZD) as it adds roughly an hour to my trip home. If they have it, I'll go. I'm thinking maybe case of ZD, 12 Alpha King, sixer of Gumballhead and sixer of something else? Have you tasted any of these or have any other suggestions as to what I should try to buy?

A general litigation firm in Dulles, VA. Interview is next Tuesday, they want someone hired and working by Oct. 1. Good Lord lol

Wow. That's only like two weeks. Best of luck man.

If you like IIPA's, Behemoth is amazing (probably comes in a 22oz bomber - it's a huge, hoppy Barleywine); their "seasonal," Moloko, is a nice, big milk stout (also in a 22oz bomber); and if for some reason they have any Brian Boru left, which is their earlier month's Red Ale seasonal, get it (again, 22oz bomber haha). As for another sixer, I'm not sure what all they have in that format since I'm rather far away, and all we get here is a bunch of bombers and Robert the Bruce sixers (which is good, but i'm not a huge fan of the style).

As a result, I'd just make that Gumballhead a 12'er.

EDIT: Also, you can't go wrong with a bomber of their actual IIPA, Dreadnaught. :)

I was hoping for the interview to be tomorrow or so, but I sorta like it being that close to their deadline. It means I can make the last (hopefully) impression.

Also, @Apple, Pride n'Joy is a lot hoppier than the style would suggest - should come in 6'ers. It's good if you want to try a milder ale, though for the money, I'd probably just double up on the Gballhead.

Yea. That's a good point. Also, since you know the deadline, there is very little waiting and no wondering if you were passed up on. Or if they still might call.

What I have to figure out is the purchase limit. I think they've instituted a 2 case limit per person. Not sure how that applies to bombers. Assuming their tap list is accurate (the date says 9/15/12 so I dunno?), they have bottles of: Alpha King, Gumballhead, Robert the Bruce, Pride & Joy, Jinx Proof, Zombie Dust. Bombers: Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Risgoop, ZesZesZes, Calumet Queen, Rye’da Tiger, Munsterfest

Maybe leaning toward 36-42 bottles (ZD, AK and GH) and some bombers (Dreadnaught and Arctic Panzer Wolf) if that's what I need to do to stay under the limit.

If you're ever feeling like making a pilgrimage to the brewery, let me know. My residence is not much more than 1 hour away.

Good luck! I guess that would mean they'd have to let you know almost immediately, which is a good thing. Searching for jobs blows.

Avoid the Arctic Panzer, although good, and get Rye'da Tiger instead - didn't realize they had it in stock. It's one of the BEST Rye IPA's I've had. Arctic Panzer is good, but it's not as good as Dreadnaught or Rye'da.

Exaaaactly.

Assuming that list is accurate. Change noted. Thanks for the suggestions. If I had an easy (and safe) way to ship beverages, I'd totally be willing to get you some.
