Which brings me to my point: The average consumer doesn't have any idea what a Nexus is. He has no interest in the specs so many of you (alright fine, we) fanboys drool over, and most of the time he doesn't even have a fracking clue about what version of Android his device is even running, and that's without blowing his mind by explaining to him that what's on his Motorola phone isn't even Android, it's a Moto-developed UI called Blur which is based on Android 2.3.7 but varies in several important and not inconsequential ways....... You get what I mean. You know people like this and you know that most of the people you know are people like this. And here's where I come close to shutting up and opening the discussion once I make a simple statement followed by a question:
Lol I'm gun-shy and it's just a rough, drunken first draft.. so here's a middle piece which makes no real sense out of context anyway but it follows 3 anecdotes and precedes some other important stuff:
You're the Socrates of Android lol

Like sands of the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.
man, they got me in a two hour lecture panel right now about corporations/personhood. wtf. the answer is, theyre people when its convenient to be, and they're not when it's inconvenient. why do i bother with this %^&*.
i should have gone to med school.
It was a test, and you gave away the answer.
Actually, I was hoping people would either be really confused or at least somewhat amused. There is no middle ground.
