[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

it just makes me so happy that apple failed on such a grand scale...:)

See, I'm kinda in a different boat. I like competition. I'm not a fan of Apple's walled garden, so it's highly unlikely you'll find me purchasing anything from them other than an iPod. However, I miss the days when they were putting out tech gadgets with a large amount of wow-factor. I liked seeing new stuff out of Apple and thinking "I hope my Android/gaming/tv/computing devices get something like that soon". It served as motivation for other manufacturers. I enjoyed watching Apple events because I love all things tech (even the stuff I wont buy).

It seems every reveal so far in the post-Jobs Apple era has been disappointing. I don't like that. One-upsmanship makes the devices I want better. Stale competition inevitably breeds laziness.

The answer is 'B'. Assignment finished, time to drink.

See I remember when I looked an iPhone or iPad iPod and thought that's pretty good but honestly now I just kind of feel like cook is running the company on the rush from the jobs era and not really sure what to do with the empire he has underneath his control, he is definitely not the visionary jobs was and it shows so maybe my hate isn't necessarily at apple but cook for what he is turning the company into....because like you said competition is good for innovation although it will always be android for me
