I'm only sorry for him and hope he takes all the time he needs, of course. He's got his own loss, his family's, his job, and plenty of other stuff to worry about before this hobby. Hopefully he's doing alright :/

Flashed AOKP B33 last night. Good fixes and a few updates. Liquid 1.3 dropped today so made a nandroid of AOKP and installed Liquid again. Pretty good. Ran into a few minor issues but resolved them very quickly. All in all, seems to be solid and fast thus far. We'll see how it does for the next couple of days. I'm pretty sure I'll run this until AOKP M5 drops at which time I will try that. I'm hearing M5 is gonna be a major release in terms of stability, options, and quickness.

What issues were apparent with Liquid?

My signal has been somewhat wonky lately, but I think that's less to do with me and more to do with the area right now.

My signal has been somewhat wonky lately, but I think that's less to do with me and more to do with the area right now.

Couple of weird things with some new options in Liquid. There's a new camera option in camera setting where you can force or not force picture preview. I checked this and it cause the camera to continually force close. Had to clear camera data in order to resolve it...left it unchecked from now on. Also, there are some newer Vibrate options in the Dialer App which I decided to try it out. It caused havoc with my phone dialer where I couldn't get the phone to successfully make a phone call. Had to force kill the dialer. Once again, unchecked the newer options. Other than these two things, everything else is peachy so far. Not seeing any other glitches at this point.

Thanks! Luckily none of those really affect me lol.

At the suggestion of 2def, I may relock/reroot then unlock/root later today in an attempt to clear any data that might be causing the crazy Reboot into Activation nonsense.

That being said, it hasn't happened since late Thursday or Friday?

I'm a total AOKP fanboy, I admit it. It, combined with Franco's kernel has just really been incredible for me.

Liquid is nice but not as feature rich, though I haven't flashed 1.3... only 1.25. PZ had a little too much theme for me. It doesn't have a lot, but I just don't like anything theme wise that I can't remove.

I probably won't even flash anything else until M5 drops. I'm just a really satisfied customer I suppose, lol

Yeah I was getting the same thing before I did a factory image restore and bootloader lock/unlock. Some ish was def corrupt in my phone... eventually lots of stuff just stopped working, then I couldn't even flash any new roms properly, everything just started going bonkers, lol. But that fixed it right up. Only annoying part is having to backup your sd card and put it back when your done. The whole process is pretty easy though and should only take like 10 minutes really

And yeah, that guy bugs me. He never has anything decent to say IMO. I wanted to post back suggesting they stop feeding him, but I'm done in that thread. I apologized even though I was right, so I'll walk away the better man

Koush's recoveries are always free... just download the image from his site: ClockworkMod ROM Manager - Recoveries

and flash in fastboot. You only have "donate" if you want rom manager (the devil tool) to flash it for you

Same here with aokp. Been on it since january.

Although i did like liquid 1.25 and the axiom builds, tho i dont really like the axiom theming all that much (Realy just can't live with the axiom graphic in the pulldown bar...)


Anyway - gotta finish some work and then flash somethin.
