Word, i did some cities/towns most of the way through (whiterun, riverwood, markarth) and did the main quest up till i got to high hrothgar with the dragon shouters ... then got tired of main quest, did thieves guild (im guild master but still have minor quests to take care of there) and now i'm almost thru with dark brotherhood. the city/radiant quests are pretty rad, but realistically, i'm playing to steal and kill haha. but the thieves guild and brotherhood quests take you to pretty much every city in the game so i've been around the map quite a bit.

i would like to start a mage at some point but the time it takes to play is unreal so it will probably never happen.

Well, I hope that the main quest doesn't disappoint me too. Seems like a lot of the side quests are repeatable, numbers jobs, burglaries, etc. At least it seemed that way as they just keep coming. I just stopped doing them since they are kinda silly. But, maybe one day I'll try them again if I run out of stuff to do, and, I'll probably look up if they are in fact repeatable so I don't waste my time.

Dark brotherhood is next on my list probably.

Lol, yea, it's a Bethesda game. Stealing and killing are the best parts.

Yea, I know what you mean, one play through is probably all I'll get to, especially since there is DLC coming out now. The nice thing about games like this is that after you max out a skill like bows, you move on. I'm working on my one handed skill now. Mixed in with some destruction and illusion magic. I'm sure before I'm done I'll have most of the skills maxed.

Here are some great franchises. I'm a start from the first game kinda guy, but, you can always jump to the most recent of each game, and, for some it might not matter. Like, you can pick up the most recent Elder Scrolls game (Skyrim) and it wont really matter.

The Elder Scrolls, Diablo, Fable, Assassin's Creed, Fallout, Bioshock, Borderlands, Mass Effect, Dragon Age.

I play all of those on PC, don't have a PS3 (sorry Sony, don't make crappy consoles and screw over your customers).

Hahah Madden hasn't been that good in a while. I would only play it if someone else has it, wouldn't buy it myself.

I am actually now getting hooked to Guild Wars 2 and Counter Strike GO... not good since I have to work soon.

Haha only reason that I am playing it is because its free to play monthly. If it was pay to play I wouldn't go near it.

I got a 30 day trial for Rift and checked it out because it was free. Wasn't impressed, but, I was glad to mess with it. Haven't picked it back up in a week, so, it can't be that good.

If there is a trial for GW2, I might check it out. Lol.

Lol!! Yea, I meant Rift. It seemed like a lamer version of WoW to me. WoW has successfully filled that niche for me. Sorry Rift.
