[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

You know you're flashing your nerd cred when you're quoting a Klingon in a Star Trek movie reciting Shakespeare. The original does just fine. Just saying. :)

I'm not terribly familiar with either ^ :(

Did a little more recon. Apparently they think we're taking this personal. If any of the CB members are reading this, I promise none of this is personal. We're just taking cheapshots for the lulz. We take similar shots at each other and ourselves. Still all in good fun.

Since last night they did post up some good tunes, too.

Want me to go tell them that several if us are posting FROM ANDROIDS but their boards are unwelcoming and offputting to newbies so we don't post there?

I do want to call this one out, in case you come back in to view this reenee. I found this forum to be completely opposite of what you claim. It's one of the few forums (at least the VZW GNex and N7 sections) that seem to be gentle on the newberts. I VERY rarely see people being scolded for not searching when they post a noob question. I honestly can't say that about many other forums. Just my $0.02

Nah it probably takes them 40 minutes to load a thread on their Nintendo powered gameboys.

Your post is being use to rally the CB members. You trash talker, you. Lol.

Looks like we'll be getting LeanKernel for the Nexus 7. Some generous folks have contributed enough money to buy a Nexus 7 for imoseyon.

Franco's been running well on grouper for me. But I'll definitely test out lean. I love me some options. And that may satisfy some of my flashing needs while I wait for new builds of PA to be released.

Hey man, you're welcome back whenever.

Also, honestly not a shot at CB, but are they nerdier over there than here? Looks like a lot of nertacular videos being posted. I thought I was pretty damn nerdy, but even I can't keep up with a lot of the references.

The nerd quotient is strong. Heh. I simply represent the tech geek, Trek geek, female geek portion of society. Yep it is true, I have ovaries. And yeah, I know Shakespeare does just fine but I had just watched Undiscovered Country and it was in my head. Also, you haven't heard Shakespeare until you've heard it in the original Klingon. :D
I guess I should clarify, while I agree AC is not as bad as other forums (XDA I'm looking at you) with noobs, it's not as welcoming as CB.

And with that, I have to stop padding the thread. Lol

That place is terrible. Lol. A reasonably high-level of tech knowledge is required to post there without being flamed. I'm ok with it, but noobs who stumble in there are in for some hurt.

it's not as welcoming as CB.

I've never had a BB (my only experience was with the gf's old phone which sucked, though that may be attributed to Sprint more than the phone), so I've had no need to go over there. I'm sure it's a fine community though. And my comment about forums that are harsh on noobs is certainly not limited to the tech world either. Seems most I post in have people screaming about the search button.

And with that, I have to stop padding the thread. Lol

We appreciate your contribution, but understand your future absence. I'm sure at some point someone will cross post from here to there. It'll even back out. :D

As far as I'm concerned, I was still asleep while taking my dog out, showering, and getting dressed for work.

Now, I'm awake.

Me too, for good measure. Foliage is starting to turn, so that's cool. Little brisk out here this am.

I've used LeanKernel on my devices since my ThunderBolt days. With few exceptions, it has worked well on my devices. LK with AOKP on my SGSIII has exceptional standby battery.
