With all the money 2def is winning he can buy them for all the chatterheads![]()
So do I upgrade the girlfriend's phone from a droid 2 to the certified pre-owned GNex for $230?

I concur with that sentiment.

Consider that the GNex might drop in price after the 29th. But that might be only the GSM version, so I dunno. What's the return window?

Not sure. But I have to buy phones off-contract if I want to maintain unlimited data.
If time isn't of the essence, wouldn't be surprised to see the Verizon GNex will be free on contract later this year.
If Verizon gets the LG Nexus, that will drive GNex prices down.
On-contract = bye bye unlimited data (shared plan which means I lose it too and that ISN'T and option)
A big if there. And it looks like VZW dropped the 32 gig GNex from their offerings. So if prices drop it'll be on the 16 GB model which is still sitting at $500 (new) off-contract.
Her droid 2 is getting a bit beat up, and having to buy off contract means I probably need to find good deals or blow tons of money. And, she isn't super interested in the latest-and-greatest (or rooting for that matter), which would (I think) make the GNex a great option.
I think the Certified Pre-Owned Nexus is still showing the 32gb model.Pretty much looking at everything, though would probably like to stay with purchasing from VZW so there is at least a 1-year warranty. The GNex for $230 is pre-owned/refurbished or whatever.
I think the Certified Pre-Owned Nexus is still showing the 32gb model.
Are these all really double posts, or are you guys effing with me?
