[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Looks like it's just you and me NJAP. Although I have a sneaking suspicion that Bonk is lurking somewhere. Lol.

We'll just have to set the pace.

RIPPLE wine tv commercial - YouTube

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus

Lolol. Okay, so, it's a wine product. It was really hard to tell when it was black and white. That first commercial was as horrible as the Zyrtec commercial where the dude climbs the mountain and yells Zyrtec at the top, leaving you going, "WTH is Zyrtec?," lol. But, at least now I know it comes in two flavors, red and white.

Dropped by Felix from 24 Miles above the Earth

Creepy?

I'm really looking at the Dell XPS 12 Convertible for my next non-Android purchase. Any thoughts? I'll be able to get my hands on one for a while before actually committing to a purchase, and my experiences with Dell over the past few years lean towards this being very well-built. I'm not going to buy an ultrabook with a normal laptop-like keyboard ? I like tablet-style interaction a lot ? but having the option of a physical, traditionally-sized keyboard is a big plus in my book. I can deal with a little extra thickness and weight.

  • Dual-Core i7 (up to 3.00GHz)
  • 12.5" Full-HD (1080p) 400-nit display
  • 8GB RAM
  • 256GB SSD
  • Win8 64-bit

So what do you all think? I have one corporate and one private discount with Dell, so I'll end up paying around 75-80% of the listed retail price.

Don't really know much about Dell as a brand. Used three at work over 6.5 years and they've served me well though.

Yea, that is what I love about my Prime with the dock. It has a trackpad, but, I never use it. I love the combo of touch for interaction and keyboard for typing. It's a good size, super light, and, the dock protects the screen. And, it's sweet to undock it and hand it to someone to show them something. I can get up and walk over to someone at work with just the tablet.

Yes?

And I'm all for traditional laptops. I've got a tablet, so I don't need a tablet/laptop combo thing. And dell skimps on stuff to keep the price low (like mono and such), but that's pretty much all pre-built stuff.
