I've had debates about old school RPGs with people before, and, to me it always seems to boil down to which one you liked better as a kid. I don't think at this point I'll ever be able to make an unbiased opinion on the subject because VI has such a special place in my heart. Music, gameplay, story, all incredible.

i think that's the thing games we played as kid's and enjoyed no one will ever be able to persuade us that it wasn't a good game, and their is nothing wrong with that...

i miss action game's that actually had story lines and decent game play..now it's just graphics graphics graphics... when it should be game play then graphics.

While I agree with you that gameplay comes before graphics, I disagree that it's all about graphics nowadays. I have too many games to play right now that I don't know what to do with myself and they are all top notch games (gameplay, graphics, music, story, etc.). Dishonored has good graphics, but, they're not the most amazing graphics in the world (nothing like Skyrim) and the game is still incredible.

yes their are games with good gameplay today but i was talking about games like call of duty modern warfare... games like that.forgive me if i am a little out of touch the only games i have had a chance to play as of late are first person shooter's with no plot. i have heard great thing's about skyrim, assassins creed(which is the only game i have played recently with decent gameplay) i guess my view is a little off just via the games i have played in the past few years... Their are games out there that combine the best of both graphics and gameplay but i feel it is not nearly as common as it should be..

I don't play games like CoD, MWF, BF, etc. etc. etc. If I'm going to play some type of warlike FPS, it's going to be something like Halo. Those games just don't meet my standards for being playable. Not even close to playable.

I'll be honest with ya... beyond the booze I wasn't really planning too hard for this. Where there's a will there's a way... I'll figure it out. Can always eat the ChatterPooch.
