Jesus, guess it could have been worse eh? Can't go through insurance since I use an upstate address for that. No biggie.. The money doesn't bother me, just the mess and headache. Getting these kind of things fixed for cheap is easy around here too. Will have to buy a new stereo of course, but that can be fun maybe. At least that's all they took.

FWIW, my car was registered and insured in the Chicago burbs when it was stolen from the city. Just because the insurance address is upstate doesn't mean the car isn't insured when you drive it into the city.

Duly noted, lol.. Though I had a huge issue with my last insurance company when a slip up let them figure out I didn't live where I claimed to and they tried to jack my rate ridiculously. Rather not risk it now.. At least not for this relatively minor repair job

I am so damn angry today and there seems to be no root cause as to why (or there is, but I just haven't been awake long enough to process.) Grabbing my check, paying some bills, then work all day.

I had my car broke into in St. Louis. They stole a pair of speakers worth about $60 and a handful of change. About $12 maybe. Cost $135 for a new window. I should have just left it unlocked. Would have been cheaper.
