[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Need some new Rom suggestions for the Gnex. I've been running AOKP and Cyanogen, dabbled with ParanoidAndroid some. Was considering Commotio/Vanir, anything else good?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Android Central Forums

I'm going to try Carbon sooner than later.

So my Gnex decided just to stop connecting to wifi. Tried a factory reset, no change. Gonna re-flash factory image and be bone stock (unrooted and all) and see if that does it. Everything else in the house is connecting just fine to the router, but the Gnex? no dice. Was connecting fine last night. Today? not so much. Color me confused?

Can you connect to any other network?

I'm merely a product of a rift in the space/time continuum. I'm neither here nor there, far nor away, now nor later.

;)

Nerd O_o

Haha.. what's good? Doing some cleaning and working out here.. gotta quickly flash AOKP build 5 then run to the city to hit up our L6 farm and meet the wifey for dinner..... work work work... :)

negative.

Here's the strange thing. I was running stock (rooted) 4.2.2. Did a factory reset, no change. Pushed fresh factory image to the phone, did the setup, and BAM -- connected again. P.I.A. but at least it worked.

Gremlins.

Also, having a Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout.

How's chatter doing tonight? I've got roughly 500 lines worth of Java left on my to-do list for today.. we'll see how long it takes.

Fair enough. And if this happened to an iPhone it would be bragged about as a "security feature". Because if I can't access my own data and network, it's pretty tough for someone of ill intent to steal my stuff, right? :p

In theory. But hey, at least you know a lawyer :p
