Ah, the days of Lumenii. It's been a while. I still see that name pop up occasionally while doing moderator things and I do a bit of a double-take each time. As for the home automation, I did some home automation work with R2 Studios last year before it was bought by Microsoft. On a personal level, I've written the Android app/service framework for a scalable and modular home automation system, but I have a ways to go financially before being able to implement it. So right now, no automation whatsoever. I've tested the framework with content streaming and device-to-device communication (the service framework uses persistent socket servers), but don't use it on a day-to-day basis. The modular design allows me to easily build out functionality for things like networked front door locks, zone-based music playing, appliance/lighting control, and eventually (ideally) the ability to interface with other applications such as Google Now.

To specify, basically, all I did was swap my Belkin N150 for the Linksys. Rereading my post I didnt mention it.

Got a boot loop restore from backup FTWAh being rooted and unlocked is so nice in situations like this.

Sounds good man be sure to post the results..for right now i certainly don't have that kind of budget in a few months i'm hoping to be able to get a new phone away from verizon's grasp...probably at&t Who nows what will be out by then though,note 3..maybe or nexus 5.

We'll see...the problem will be following through with what seems like a cool idea but could be well beyond my abilities (attention span). Plus I gotta catch up on GOT.

Game of thrones..the only parts I've seen of that show are we'll...you know so effectively I need to start GOT and breaking bad and walking dead so much great TV to catch up on..but who has the time..

GOT is the best show ever.

I tried breaking bad and it just depressed me. i got like 4 episodes in and quit.

Oh..I hadn't realized breaking bad was a depressing show..i don't handle sad movies/shows well..they just bum me out for days..in the end of time when Tennant regenerates. it destroys me every time.
