[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

The moto x is humble. It ain't trying to be the best and some part of me truly appreciates that. Assembled in the states and thoughtfully engineered, running great software. I tell myself I don't need insane battery life, or HD or the best cell photos. Could probably live without the spen. But when moto let at&t have all the fun and storage is where I lost my love (though I still love it and are considering) at&t has crappy coverage in the mountains here so I am Verizon for life lol. But all those shortcomings and the x still shines and makes me happy. I could do a black x  gotta figure it out before I am stuck for 6 months in a phone. BTW, with the likes of the one, nexus, lg and many others, android is a fun system to be on these days!

It is..I really am completely in love with it..and as broken as I am. I still find joy in some things tech being one of them. And for those wondering the breaking has already been done..but forward we move happy topics..but I do agree with so much choice out there the right phone is out there for everyone..I am really liking the mix of the one and the nexus..it balances out nicely..:)

Kaleb. 6 lbs 10.5 ozs, 20 inches. Grandma says he's cute, but you know how grandma's are.

38,000. Wow. Congrats, Johnly! And congrats Chatter, you guys are alright...

And yes to the food porn challenge. That includes liquid food as well, does it not?

Yes android is becoming so awesome and there are so many great experiences across the board of manufacturers. And on the att getting exclusivity of moto maker really pissed me off I wouldn't buy one if I couldn't use moto maker.

The New Nexus is likely to be awesome, but won't come to Verizon. And I have to pay full price to stay grandfathered (ironic, eh?). So the MotoX is at the top of my short list. I think the G2 is next, despite it's crappy UI.
That is all.

I really considered the g2 over the HTC one but LGs UI is terrible, consistently ugly throughout the entire device. The specs though are beastly

Good morning, Chatter!

Due to complications, at or just after 0945 this morning, my daughter will have a C Section procedure, and yours truly will be a first time grandfather.

The prognosis is good for her and for Kaleb. I was hoping she could go full term, and have him near my birthday, but since he's stubborn and won't turn, he'll be three weeks or so early.

If you were all here, the drinks and cigars would be on me.
