Hey gang, it's been a busy weekend.

Spent a good part of yesterday at my step-daugher's dad's property (well, technically it's hers now - until possession date at the end of the month) cleaning up all the crap. The man had a heart of gold but was a packrat - borderline hoarder. Lots of crap to dig though, lots of it is garbage but we're finding some unique/cool stuff too. And of course mementos and special items for her.

Today was a solid 4 hours of raking and mowing. 12 garbage bags worth of leaves, dead grass, and trash that accumulated over the fall and winter.

I'm beat. Lucky for me, wifey is barbecuing ribs for supper (and yes, she's better on the grill then I am - no complaints here!)

Did he pass? If so I'm so sorry for her loss and hope she's doing ok.

Yes, he passed just over a month ago. She's still quite sad some days but obviously this takes time

Yeah I can relate to that had a similar experience.I found that in my case what made me move forward faster was what my cousin told me.
That was dont think about the 3% of their life that was bad / sad.
Instead think about the 97% of their life that was good/happy.
I dont think that ya totally get over it completely though.

Update on my exam and speech of last week: Got an 80 on the speech and can easily get a B in the class. Did OK on the math exam, but good news is if I get more than 49% on it I pass. 93.5% on it and I get a B, so not out if the question.

Petition. I didn't have much time yesterday but I got 5 houses signing and I only went to 5. We have over 100 homes in the neighbourhood and many people are angry.

Once I have all the signatures I will either take it to the local MP or the company that lays down the copper wiring, if the company doesn't help then I will take it to the MP if she doesn't help then my dad will help me take it to the media then we will screw that company over. my average speed is around 0.6mbps-1.7 and thats it so they will have to answer quite a lot.
