Still rocking my G3. Can't justify an upgrade but if I could it would be either the V10, Note 5, or the 6p. Pros and cons to each - all fantastic phones

I guess Apple thought it couldnt be hacked either but I know the iphone has already been hacked and someone claimed the 1 million dollar bounty

But as far as encryption itself. (like an encrypted hard drive that no os can be accessed until it is unlocked) that can very very much so be uncrackable. The issue is that a smartphone does so much to be convient and it is very difficult in such w complex system with the limitations that the smartphone environment presents for truly uncrackable encyrption to be achieved. For anyone. Which is i why i must applaud apple for trying as hard as they are to build such a system.
I'm not saying apple is the only one trying at all. But to be honest the security on android is still imperfect to a greater degree. Hopefully google gets the ball rolling on great \close enough to perfect that no one can find the flaws security soon. Because i really do like android.
The encryption itself(assuming the deivice is powered off) Can very much be uncrackable however.. As soon as the device is powered user facing apis and interfaces become a available..which is where problems begin. As soon as any bit of code is vulnerable to be exploited (even say a radio button in a survey app for example) depending what that object has permission to in the system and how that permissioning is handled can lead to major issues and something like that was most likely hiw the exploit was found.First nothing is uncrackable

I'm glad you're feeling better now!Hey gang. I been busy, life is well.... Interesting. Had a wicked battle with depression, but I think I'm on the upswing again. Hope everyone is doing well.... I'll try to come visit a little more often now that I'm a little less preoccupied and a little more sane again

Thanks Laura. Its so stupid i have a few friends and one that is a friend who is completely amazing. What i mean is i have a great support system. I should be able to use that to become succesful and happy(of course they aren't the same thing) but something inside me ticks out of phase and leaves me feeling incapable of doing anything with my life.
I don't know. I just need to find a way to move forward

It's not stupid, and it's not your fault.
It is definitely something that can be helped though, and with help you should be feeling much better.

Sounds familiar. Shoot me your email via DM. not promising I WILL help you but I can promise I WILL listen, and possibly offer some insights from my perspective... Sometimes it's helpful sometimes not. But I know facing <insert profanity here> like that alone when you feel trapped inside your head and old habits is tough. I don't know the destination for your journey nor mine...but I do know to get there I have to keep moving forward.

I too know the feeling.
There are several nights, even recently, when I feel that way myself. Typically, I pull out of it by the next morning. But there have been a couple times when I slipped into a fairly deep depression.
As others have said, we here are with you. Try to keep your head up.
