Cheap/free way to add oleophobic coating back

Add a drop of hair conditioner and rub it in dry with a microfiber cloth. Should resist oil and fingerprints and bring back smoothness. Also works on tables and other surfaces. Always test it out first just incase. I have the Suave Coconut Conditioner from Walmart that I used.

Funny story, not related but totally related: When I got my very first phone (besides the Motorola StarTac and Nokia whatevernumberitwas my family had given me), I used it for over a year and a half (LG Slim... Loved that phone!) and then passed it on to my sister when I got my next one... I didn't notice it but apparently the phone REEKED of my cologne.. Every phone I've sold/given away after that has the same effect hahaha.

I bought a used camera on Craigslist and the camera smelled HORRIBLE! NOTHING took away the nasty smell. Then I remembered the old used coffee grounds trick and rubbed it all over the camera and left it on for 24 hours. The smell was completely gone, though it sorta smelled like coffee, which is better than before though.

If your cologne arrives twenty minutes before you do, you have issues.

Just rub it on the outer body, careful not to let it get inside the unit. The lens cap was left on. Trust me, the camera smelled like pee, I had to do something.

Haha no, people only smell it when I'm near. It's 212 VIP by Carolina Herrera. (trust me, guys and gals love it, so no matter what you're bound to attract an audience ??????). But what I hadn't noticed is that it rubs onto my phones. So now my phone smells as good as me yay

Well you're not supposed to drown yourself in it even though your phone is water resistant.

Okay, so I just tried it with a small dot of Head & Shoulder conditioner and wow! That's amazing. Thank you! Where did you come across that trick?
