cheap GSM android smartphone?

I need an inexpensive GSM phone to use. At this point, I have a Note 2 that's CDMA but I'm only looking for GSM services like Cricket, Ting, or metroPCS (yes, their signal is bad apparently). At this point, even the Note 2 seems low-spec so, if possible, I'd like it to be an upgrade. Can anyone suggest an Android phone that might be used/kinda-broken and low-cost on eBay or something? I've done it before and in fact I got this perfect Note 2 for $60 (which is about my budget) on eBay.

OK, $60 is a tight budget. You can open eBay and select the cell phone category with maximum price. Try the Gazelle eBay store. All fixed price listings. You can select price range and phone type. All their phones have 14 day no hassle return.
