cheaper to leave 3 and come back?

[Android Central Question]

I'm on 3 and currently paying £20 a month for 12gb data. I've seen on the internet that for £16 a month I can go unlimited data on 3. I've rang 3 up now twice and they said that I cannot have that deal! I can input all the data into 3's web site and even enter my pac code and it says that I can. What is going on? do I really need to leave to come back again?
