Cheapest Android 5.0 device

For a reliable one, I would say Moto E 2nd Generation. If I'm not mistake the price ranges from $85-$110(correct me if I'm wrong)

There are many companies has been launched which providing android 5.0 and above in your pocket friendly price. There are Moto,Redmi, vivo, micromax, karbonn, oppo and many other companies.

I think the cheapest android mobile phone is Moto g4, But when we talk about the features there is only one phone which is Oppo F1,,,

I think that if you want to do some developing with this phone you better get some old flagship phone that have android 5.0 like Samsung Note 3 or LG G3 for example rather then a new cheap low grade, the reason for that is that as a developer you would like your phone to have as many sensors as possible so you can check different features of what ever your application you trying to make, like using NFC, IR, etc., in cheap phones you would not find this kind of sensors and it may limit your app development testing. you will probably get those old flagship phones at the same price as the cheap new ones or even less.

Just got a HTC Desire 510 for $9.99 w/Freedompop service (Free) for my mom

EDIT: Nevermind, it's running 4.4.2 lol

There are quite a lot of cheap ones available actually which one could also have for daily usage, but if you're only looking at development/testing then the BLU Life One X seems like a pretty good option.

This is good advice. Thanks for taking the time to post. I plan to do what you have outlined and start saving myself some real cash.
