Check for Update is Not Available at this Time

I am getting this message and I have seen other posts where other people with Bionic are also getting message. Most of those people had to do a factory reset, but I would like to know from people getting that message did they eventaullay get the OTA update if they did NOT do a factory reset.

I had the same when .893 came out... Had to do a factory reset.

Sorry but you will have to do a factory reset had the same problem a reset fixed it

mine did that, I just did a battery pull an hour ago and the update finally came through

I believe it was said awhile back that that happens when either "battery saver" or "data saver" functions are on. If you click one of those off, it should work.

I have been getting this message for months. Was getting a little concerned about being able to get this update. I finally turned off my phone for about five minutes. When I turned it back on and checked for updates the update available notification was there.

Got the update after a battery pull. Root in place. : )

I downloaded the OTA file from a web site and installed it but I still get the same message that the update function is not available. If I root my Bionic will it fix the issue or once I root is there something I can do to get the function to work without doing a factory reset?
