Check if your Note 2 has dark blobs in the dark

Been reading this thread... its awesome! So a good question. Why isnt Samsung usin SLCD3 screens. They would kill the competition completely, also "SoLux" displays? But I thought IPS was the king of the road?

The main reason Samsung won't switch display tech is because they have invested millions upon billions of dollars into AMOLED. It is, for better or worse, a part of what makes a Samsung device. They will not switch it until the competition either completely dwarfs AMOLED into becoming obsolete or they discover something better themselves.

My note 2 all of a sudden had black blotb in top right corner, then bottom corner, it looked ad if the screen was bleeding inside a d now my screen is black. Called provider and thankfully there replacing it at not cost because there is no water damage and no cracks in screen.
