Turns your Android Phone into a walkie Talkie so you too can be that annoying nextel guy at the mall

For anyone using this app, is it whipping your batteries azz? Im on the extended battery and it seems like im going thru 10% an hour. I may uninstall tomorrow and see how the phone is without it. id hate to give it up.

It worked okay for me until it got really annoying and buggy when someone keeps buzzing you and your not responding. Slowed my phone a little too.

Yeah, it is A battery killer. I uninstalled it last night, and I am noticing a massive increase in battery life.

Just tried it and works ok on the Incredible. You can tell it's Beta and double ad banners are a little annoying. If it wasn't totally obvious, talking doesn't use phone minutes - just data. You can also talk to several people at once (although I haven't tried that out yet).

Probably the biggest news is that the developers have successfully been able to get it to work cross-platform with iPhones (!). They've recently submitted a version of the app to the AppStore for approval... so here's hoping it'll be approved.

I just got this last night, and so far with the update, it has great battery life, i just wish it had a vibrate only option. But left Heytell for this.

I downloaded it to try. My son has a virgin intercept and limited minutes. So far no complaints but we have been home with chargers, not sure how much battery its using
