Chinese SoftwinerEvb 4.0.4 Tablet help!

Just purchased ( very cheaply lol) a SoftwinerEvb 4.0.4 tablet Kernel Version 3.0.8+ Build number nuclear_evb-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20121211 test-keys and am having a display problem. The tablet seems to be stuck on 'negative' color. When I awake it, the color is right for less than a second and then goes "negative color'. I cannot find anywhere in settings to change this. The only options under display are 'brightness'....Any ideas how to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, it sounds like it's more of a hardware problem. There isn't any Android setting to make everything look like a photo negative. Return it if you can--otherwise, I'm afraid you're stuck with it!

Thanks for your reply. I was afraid of that. Is there any setting to adjust the color at all? I can't seem to find any.

No, there isn't. It almost sounds like there's a problem with the LCD screen connector inside the tablet, but it could also be the screen itself. If you're adventurous, you could try to open the tablet up and check all of the connections.

The problem I am having is getting the tablet to stay idle more than a minute. After that the screen goes blank and I have ti hit the power button to get the screen back. Also how do I download apps to this tablet....Thanks for your input in advance.?

i think there is an option in tv box settings about the screen colors. there is a ckeck about negative look. check it out

also i think the problem for "auto switchoff" is the pre-install lock screen software. download "unlock/lock screen" from google play and set the parameters off for locking screen

I have a version 4.0.4. I am having problems connecting to the wireless. When I go to turn on the wireless it says that it's turning WI-FI on, but it doesn't. How can I fix this? It was working fine one day and then the next it doesn't. I have tried resetting it, but to no avail. I have important things on my tablet and I don't want to lose them. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Thanks!!
