Christmas!

I KNOW I'm not in the right section.. I apologize but couldn't figure out the right place to put it.. So what's similar to an IPAD but is an android OS/device? Looking for christmas ideas and I'm no longer a fan of apple products due the lack of compatibility with accessories (apple products only) and OS restrictions.
