Chrome bug or not?

Since yesterday or the day before everytime I click on Google Chrome it does nothing then all my apps on that page flash (dissappear then re appear) then chrome launches. Any idea why it's doing this? Seems to be the only app doing this. Any idea how to get it to just launch when I press it without my apps flashing?

Or could this be a lollipop bug?

Does it persist after a reboot? It may be worth doing a cache partition wipe: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744

I've noticed some lags with Chrome recently. Nothing so bad as you report, though. The beta version is running much better.

Also, you could try clearing data/cache for Chrome and uninstalling updates, from settings apps.

None of those options helped but it did launch a bit quicker.
