Chrome folders have disappeared?

I've been enjoying the folders feature in chrome for a while now.

Recently though, the folders disappeared and I only have swipe tabs now.

I can't figure out how to get folders working again. Any help would be appreciated.

I found my answer. Happened to others before.

Somehow I had this working from a previous beta update, but then a recent update wiped them out. The link above shows how to reset it
