The annual trade-in race

On day 11 and still no word yet. Just that they got my package and will inspect it.
I called T-Mobile because we had not heard anything about the trade-in for the wife. I gave them the tracking number and they noted my account that it had arrived and it will be updated once they inspect it. Regardless, the rep noted the account and the credit should stay active if they go past the date. I kept the tracking number in case, but they have never does us wrong, so we're just waiting.
 
It took forever to get my 512GB S26U from Best Buy but once I received and switched phones I immediately returned my trade-in. Can't complain - dropped off trade in phone & ear buds in separate packages last Friday afternoon here in Western Colorado and received delivery notification in Chino, CA this morning. Curious how long it takes.

Husband's Samsung trade-in was delivered at 5:30PM on 3/24 or a week tomorrow and no news.

Hope they get on with it as my credit card bill will be coming in and due!

My buds3 pro trade in with Best Buy was quick. Fedex delivered my trade in on March 23rd and I got the email saying my buds were inspected and approved on the 24th. IDK whether a phone takes longer or not though.

Same as returning to Samsung. Print FedEx ship label from Best Buy site, boxed my trade in dropped off at FedEx. I t went to Kentucky took 4days from northeast. They received it and processed it in same day.

Back when we used to buy from Best Buy they used to just take our old phone at time of picking up our new one. I don't remember ever having to send one back in like we do for Samsung.
 
Day 14 and still not approved yet. They got my phone last Monday snd samsung confirmed it.
 
And... she's off. Took loads of imei, reset, power on and packing photos, as well as dropping off at UPS. Now the wait..... (My previous trades have all gone well, but I figure I can't be too proactive in making sure!!)

Last year after receiving my S24U (towards a S25U), Samsung gave 21 business days to check it. When it was way past that deadline (totally forgot about it), I called them complaining why it was talking so long (this never happened before).
After explaining that I followed all the trade-in instructions; I made sure to mention that the S24U looked perfect like a brand new phone (it really did) with not a single scratch, the customer service representative said he was going to give me a one time courtesy (can't remember exactly the term he used) and accept my trade-in.
Next day I received an email confirming that no chargeback would be applied .

I have only bought Samsung phone from Best Buy once before years ago and yes I do remember having to do trade in when buying new phone. I remember geek squad help me setup the new phone. When I got this I ordered it online told them my trade in device info they gave estimate of it's value. They charged my card full price. Then I received new phone. Sent in my trade. When they examined it and processed it I got what they gave me as estimate. I have to wait for that credit to be applied to my card.

Well Best Buy has Samsung beat for trade-in times. Mailed my S23U and Buds 3 Pro last Friday, received in CA on Monday afternoon and approved this afternoon. Now just have to wait to see how long it takes for the credit to be applied to ny credit card. Meanwhile my husband's S23U has been in Samsung's hands since March 24 and still waiting for successful trade-in approval email.

They had mine since around March 25th , I'm not worried it's still under the 14 days to respond and even if that passes I'm not until they say something else.

Same here. They confirmed they got the phone. They can charge us $900 for the trade in. Not my fault they haven't inspected it. If they did i would dispute it with your charge company

No question I would dispute it if they even think about charging anything more at this point

You guys are in my shoes normally. I mailed mine in a lot sooner this year just to compete in the race. You guys are fine, you got the email saying they received your trade. It's a waiting game at this point...you will not be charged the $900 unless you get the email saying your trade in was not accepted. I've waited 2 months for that accepted email before.

It still says my s22 ultra was dropped off and being inspected on at&t. It's been there since the 26th . I'm nervous , but at least they got it. All I can do is wait and hope for the best.
