Chrome for Android -- a reason to root?

I've been (reasonably) satisfied with stock, but this may just push me over the edge to the dark side. Honestly, even with all the research I did before getting my Rezound, I was still surprised to find no Google Chrome for Android. Color me clueless.

Maybe this ties better into the "who's staying stock until ICS" thread, as a "I might have, but maybe not now."

It's a great browser no doubt. I've used it all day and it renders fast and handles large websites well. Doesn't support flash though and for some people that's a deal breaker and since it doesn't work on GB, and ICS is "stable" but not wonderful I'd say waiting makes better sense if you're not planning on rooting.

It would be perfect if they put the quick controls from the ICS stock browser on chrome. I know those controls are still in the lab, but damn are they just the handiest thing I've used in a browser.
