Which app is better to use? Which app drains less battery? Chrome or Samsung internet app?

Chrome hands down is the choice especially the way it integrates with your gmail. I mean there are other browsers, I wouldn't even compare the stock samsung to chrome.

In my opinion, the Samsung browser is a superior experience on Galaxy phones. Faster, fewer resources, ad/content blockers allowed and bookmarks can be synched with desktop version of Chrome by using the Samsung add on from the Chrome store. I don't even have Chrome enabled on my S8+ anymore, that's how much better the Samsung browser is.

Definitely Samsung Internet. Opens much faster and doesn't seem to refresh as often when returning to a tab after being going a while.

I use the Samsung option because Chrome was throwing up mediaserver in my battery stats which was chewing it up.

**This**

Just add the Samsung Internet extension to your computer's chrome browser and it will sync and works just like if it was Chrome.

Same as others have mentioned. Chrome has been disabled on mine & using Samsungs with ad blocker.

I find tab switching clunky on Samsung Internet. Tabs change relative position. And can't swipe over to change tabs (have to go to tabs view and find tab you want, the order of which might've changed). Or am I missing something?

Not to throw a wrench in it, but if you use google assistant, ok google wont it open up the google chrome? Will you guys be using bixby if you are happy with the samsung browser?

Samsung hands down...UI is much easier to use with one hand, especially with home button and bookmarks on the bottom. Dolphin browser is a good one, too.

I switched everything on my phone to the Samsung browser but it don't look like I can cast videos from the Samsung browser to chromecast. Is there a way to do this. That might be a deal-breaker for me if I can't.

You know I was loving Samsung's Internet app, but it seems every time open it I get this. I may switch back to Chrome just to avoid this spam crap. NO I don't want to rate your app Samsung!

I know there is a way to sync over bookmarks to Samsung browser, but does anyone know if I can sync over saved passwords and logins? Between my desktop and phone I use that feature a lot. It's really the only reason I hesitate the switch over to Samsung browser.

On my old phone I used Dolphin browser because it was similar to a desktop browser with tabs and whatnot. Also you could set it to clear history, etc. after every close. I haven't looked for a latest version or best browser yet. I need to see if there is a new version of Dolphin.

Does Samsung's web browser really use less resources ( battery, ram memory ) than chrome ?

I care much more about this than bookmarks. I too would like to know.
