Chromebook constantly freezing

mine does exactly the same freezes every time I go on Fb have to hold down of switch for ages the sign in again also it started freezing on other pages too , have cleared my cookies but nothing helps

I've come to the conclusion it is just a really bad operating system and I am kicking myself for buying it. A chromebook that can't use google play, constantly freezes and can't be used for many internet interactions?? Web pages don't always display properly.....

I am normally an informed shopper who does his due diligence. But I really dropped the ball on this purchase.

If ya get a great deal on a chromebook, don't and if ya get one as a gift. Ask for the receipt in as polite a manner as you can.

But it is fast. Right up until it freezes and stops dead altogether. So that's a plus.

Yes. I have tried all the suggestions posted.
