Hello. I have a Chromecast, but an old TV with no HDMI or VGA input, so I thought I would try to use an adapter for the Google Chrome. At first, I tried to use a HDMI to AV converter, but it did not work, so I sent it back. I then purchased a HDMI to VGA converter, and am using it with a VGA to AV converter that I already had (sorry, I can't post links to show them to you).
This setup works fine for the audio, but only the top left portion of the video is shown. I would assume the VGA to AV converter is cutting the resolution to 800*600 or 1024*768 and "forgetting" about the rest. Is there any way I can either make that device scale down the resolution instead of cutting it, can I do something with the Chromecast, etc?
Thanks
Brandon Dixon
